What is StreetPass™?
StreetPass™ communication lets you exchange game information automatically with people you pass by in the street or on trains, etc. You'll need to have your Nintendo 3DS system on and in Sleep Mode for this feature to function.
-
What can I do with StreetPass™?
When nintendogs + cats players with StreetPass™ activated pass by each other, a variety of info will be exchanged—including your registered Mii™ character, its short message, your puppy info, and any presents or in-game pictures you've chosen to share. Sometimes even a new puppy breed will become available to you.
* Only gameplay pictures can be exchanged. Photos taken with the AR Card will not be shared.
-
How do I use StreetPass™?
In order to start StreetPass™, first register nintendogs + cats to StreetPass™ from your in-game Journal, then select your Mii™ , Photos, Comment, and Present. After that, just carry your Nintendo 3DS system with you in your travels with the device in Sleep Mode. The StreetPass™ setting will be stored in the machine itself—you don't even need to have your game card inserted to use the StreetPass™ function. When you pass other nintendogs + cats players with StreetPass™ activated, your info will be exchanged automatically. Owners actual name and personal information is not shared through StreetPass™.
-
Do I have to use StreetPass™ in order to find all the puppy breeds?
Though you'll sometimes find new breeds by using StreetPass™, you can also get all 27 breeds by caring for and playing with your pets over a long period of time. For example, after taking good care of your pets for awhile, a new breed might appear in the park.
-
How do I turn off StreetPass™?
